The first week of May every year is celebrated as Depression Awareness Week. In honouring that, today we’ll learn about a form of depression that many of us don’t talk about enough about, Peripartum Depression (formerly Postpartum ). Years ago I watched the famous Hollywood actress Brooke Shields talk about her struggle with postpartum depression.
